VJ NETBALLERS GO!!
haha. had our first game today. glanies had a tough neckache, couldnt even turn her head (which is sucky for her cos she's a defender, and for us cos she's a super defender). so wanling and farhanah gave her shoulder massages. the game was ok. we won 41-4. and yes, because the other school....lets face it, if they didnt step when they caught the ball, they didnt balance, thus they threw badly and i hardly needed to reach to catch the ball. just lovely PLOPPED into my hands. but still. our first game, and 4 out of our 11 players havent played a real game before. not bad.
thank you christine, chun han, jastine and yirui for the wishes!! they really helped me to calm down and play properly. i was so keyed up during warm up i couldnt catch. not till we did highest point then i started playing properly. >< haha anyway, it went alright. i played WD. sad. i think i'm being demoted. haha wanling and glanies are just too pro can. every time the ball went to the opponents, i'd be like, "ok, maybe it'll actually come my way now," and then before you know it, the ball would stop midair and you'd realise wanling or glanies had gotten it. -_- haha me and jacq were like, "no business this side of the court leh..." haha whoohoo. but the sad side is i think i've really been demoted from first line-up. i only went in 2 quarters (was afraid i wouldnt go in at all!) but it was great. yeah man.
today gave nazri and daniel their birthday cards. it was funny cos last night i sat down to start on christmas presents, then i realised i hadn't made daniel (or) a card. well, he's my brother, his birthday party's next week, as well as his birthday. better make right. then i realised that daniel (ong)'s birthday wasnt too far over, and i should probably make him one too, right? after all, IPO chair, psl group member. so i sat down to make it. then realised that nazri (our table aka vice-chair) 's birthday is only just over too. so ended up making them both cards, then going to sleep. lol.
in any case. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN! haha =) and GO VJ NETBALLERS!!
