summary of sports day:
WE ROCK MAN
they screwed up our music and deducted 40 points (hey, all the other cheerleaders ponned school too lor) AND WE STILL WON BY FIVE POINTS WHOOHOO WE ROCK AQUILA CHEERLEADERS!!!
WE ROCK
we came in 1st for 4x100m and clinched second and third in guys 100m and third for girls 100m and WHOOHOO WE SO ROCK GO OHFIVE VEE ONE THREE!!
yeah.
as a side note, lets dispell any incorrect rumours for those who have never been to a dance concert before.
1) when a performance is held from X date-Ydate, it means that you buy a ticket for any one of the days and go on that specific day. you do NOT buy a ticket and go for ANY of the days. neither do you (*save me from noobs somebody*) buy a ticket and go for ALL the days.
and yes, in case you were wondering, every night is the same thing. if you haven't gone for a dance concert before, haven't you at least been to a drama concert, band concert, musical, movie, ANYTHING? lol!
2) yes, dancers do get flowers, similar to band and choir and drama people. in fact, more than say drama people owing to the fact that every dancer claims a totally awful body and a getting-fat, if not already-fat status. it is also a mark of appreciation for the dancers.
and in case you were wondering, mulitiple curtains calls are good, yes.
