Green.Doesn't it strike you as odd?
How some people are just so 'in' and others just so 'out'? Or have you always been in, never known the sting of being pushed away, or the subtle cruelty of simply being forgotten, ignored, left out?
It's mystified me for nearly a decade now, eight years. I've observed, reflected, puzzled, frowned, mulled over, questioned, searched. And still, I don't have the answer.
Can't you tell? Or have you never seen? Some people are 'in', have always been and will always be more 'in' than others. Don't you ever wonder? Look at Joanne, Eugenia, Marcus, ZhaiJuan, Amanda. Some people are just automatically admitted to the group, regardless of age, time, acquaintance, whatnot. And yet, other people just never get in, never get there, no matter how hard they try, no matter what they do.
What's so different? I've looked, puzzled, frustrated, cried. I DON'T GET IT.
It's not about being popular. Well-known. Whatever. The moment you have friends, you are popular in your own right. Well, if you have a group of good friends, that is. Haha.
Interesting, isn't it. I've been here a year, six years, eight years. ZhaiJuan's been here a month. So has Minli. Maria's been here a year and a half. Michelle's been here 2 years. Funny, isn't it.
